2. Products and prices
All prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the legal rate (13% for wine in mainland Portugal). Prices may change at any time, but the price in force at the time of the order always applies. Images are illustrative only.
3. Account and approval
Purchasing requires registration and account approval. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend accounts, in particular where the customer's age of majority cannot be confirmed.
4. Sales to over-18s only
Selling alcohol to under-18s is prohibited by law. By purchasing, the customer confirms they are 18 or older. We may require proof of age upon delivery.
5. Orders and payment
An order is complete once payment is confirmed. We accept card, MBWay, Multibanco reference and bank transfer. For bank-transfer orders, products are reserved and shipped after we confirm receipt of payment.
6. Shipping and delivery
Shipping is calculated at checkout and is free above the threshold shown in the store. Deliveries are made within mainland Portugal unless stated otherwise. Delivery times are estimates.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason, under Portuguese and EU law. Products must be returned intact and sealed. Goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons or that deteriorate quickly are excluded.
8. Conformity and warranties
The statutory legal guarantee of conformity applies. In case of a defect, please contact us at info@soberanowines.com.
9. Complaints
Customers may file a complaint via the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. In case of a consumer dispute, the consumer may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity.
